Are you repeatedly seeing “Incorrect or expired OTP” error message when you enter the OTP from your authenticator app into CropBytes?
This may happen in 2 cases:
1. The time on your authenticator app is not in sync with the time on your device. Here’s how you can ensure you have the correct time on your authenticator app.
Android
- Open the authentication app & tap on Menu.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap on Time correction for codes.
- Tap on Sync now.
IOS
- Open the iPhone Settings app.
- Tap on General.
- Tap on Date & Time.
- Enable Set Automatically. If it’s already enabled, disable it, wait a few seconds and re-enable.
2. You have disabled 2FA on CropBytes and are re-enabling it again.
- Remove the existing CropBytes key synced with your 2AF Authenticator app
- Add a new Key by scanning the QR or copying the key displayed on the 2FA screen
